New York proposes a One-Time Inflation Refund

Governor Hochul’s new budget has proposed a one-time inflation refund for qualifying taxpayers for 2025. The credit would only be available for 2023 full year NY residents making less than 300K. The credit would be between $300 and $500 and not require a separate application, just going off the 2023 tax return.
